Toast is expanding its innovative POS platform into new food and beverage concepts like convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. This role requires a founder's mindset to grow Toast's presence in this new vertical with the Toast Retail platform. The District Manager will spearhead the Canadian Retail launch, initially focusing on personal sales, shaping the Go-To-Market strategy, and then building a sales team. Toast offers an all-in-one platform designed to help restaurateurs and retailers manage their operations, boost sales, engage customers, and improve employee satisfaction. As a Founding District Manager, you will be among the first sales leaders for the Canadian Retail Sales team, playing a crucial role in the growth of the Toast brand in Canada. Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Retail Sales, you will be instrumental in launching the Canadian presence, securing early successes, and subsequently building and scaling the sales team. Collaboration with enablement, onboarding, and product teams will be key to understanding the unique needs of Retail operators and developing solutions that foster their success. We are seeking a passionate, entrepreneurial leader to launch and grow the Toast brand in this new market. This role involves managing and supporting field-based account executives. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Toronto.
