About The Position

The Field Sales Representative serves as the face of the business in retail stores, interacting daily with store associates and leaders. The role builds relationships and provides value by sharing sales techniques, product features, and sales data. Services include product sample installations, troubleshooting, maintaining and cleaning displays, and providing excellent customer service. The representative travels to assigned customer stores, maintains a consistent call cycle, and records store activities in Salesforce. The role is remote with local or semi-local travel.

Requirements

Effective communication, presentation, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel; mileage and other travel expenses are reimbursed.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle.
Ability to lift 30 pounds with two hands.

Nice To Haves

Retail sales and/or service experience with department stores, mass merchants, home centers, or DIY stores; training is provided for qualified individuals.
Experience using Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Communicate product information about window blinds, shades, and shutters to store associates.
Conduct group product knowledge training.
Install in-store signage on product displays and maintain display appearance by cleaning and dusting areas and maintaining marketing materials.
Travel to assigned customer store locations and maintain a consistent call cycle, driving to several stores per day as required.
Log store activities in the Salesforce app.
Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer problems and delivering quality services.
Care for company property, including the company cellphone, computer, tools, and test equipment.
