About The Position

Kognitive Sales Solutions, in partnership with a growing restaurant technology company, is looking for a motivated sales professional who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and creating new business opportunities. Our client's platform gives restaurant owners their own branded ordering app, commission free, so they keep more of every sale. As a Field Sales Representative, you will engage restaurant owners, operators, and decision makers, present the platform's value, and convert qualified restaurant partners into customers.

Requirements

  • Confident, outgoing, and comfortable approaching business owners
  • Previous sales or field marketing experience preferred, B2B or tech sales an asset
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self motivated and goal oriented
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Comfortable completing a criminal and credit background check

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from cold calling and in field prospecting to closing sales with restaurant owners and decision makers
  • Approach restaurant owners and decision makers to identify new business opportunities through in person outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Present the platform's key benefits, commission free ordering, a branded app, and built in loyalty tools, in a clear and compelling way
  • Answer questions, overcome objections, and guide restaurant owners through the decision making process
  • Close sales opportunities and secure customer commitments
  • Book and attend follow up meetings with decision makers as needed prior to closing
  • Support customers through onboarding using tools and resources provided after training
  • Achieve 15 completed sales per 30 active selling days
  • Maintain consistent daily field activity and pipeline development
  • Track and report all activity accurately and promptly in the KSS App and/or required client reporting tools
