Field Sales Representative
About The Position
Hawaiian Telcom is seeking driven, outgoing individuals to join their Field Sales team as Field Sales Representatives. This is a commission-based pay position with a base salary of $40,000 plus uncapped commission potential, and the ability to earn over $90,000 a year. A $2,500 training bonus is also available upon completion of the 30-day training program. In this role, you will be the company's representative, meeting potential customers in their neighborhoods, educating them about fiber internet services, and assisting them in switching to better, faster internet. This is a field-based, door-to-door role suitable for self-starters who enjoy being outdoors, interacting with people, and earning uncapped commissions.
Requirements
- Four years of High School or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years in door to door or outside field sales skills is preferred
- Superior Listening skills
- Intelligent, able to absorb and demonstrate a thorough understanding of a broad range of products, services, procedures, and systems
- Superior consultative selling skills, needs assessment skills, problem-solving skills, and integrative thinking
- Evening - weekend work required
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- This position requires the use of a reliable personal motor vehicle for work-related travel.
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and consistent access to a dependable motor vehicle.

Responsibilities
- Assess customer needs and provide optimal communication solutions and applications from the product and service line.
- Thoroughly understand the features and benefits of all services and products offered, including bundles and new offerings.
- Be knowledgeable about promotional offers and the geography of assigned areas.
- Understand the systems that support and qualify customers for products and services.
- Attain sales, service, and productivity metrics.
- Provide consistent documented customer sales and follow up.
- Successfully demonstrate a superior application of all training provided.
- Conduct door-to-door sales within assigned neighborhoods or territories.
- Present and promote fiber internet, tv, and voice products to residential customers.
