About The Position

Voneus is dedicated to bringing ultrafast fibre broadband to rural and hard-to-reach communities, aiming to close the digital divide. This Field Sales Representative role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to develop core sales and communication skills while helping customers transform their lives by connecting them to reliable internet services. You will be part of a supportive, high-performing team, learning modern sales tools and processes, and building confidence. The role involves representing the Voneus brand in your designated area, introducing products and services to potential customers in rural communities, and converting prospects into customers, primarily through door-to-door sales.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a business-to-consumer (B2C) environment.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques within the sales cycle and how to mitigate and overcome pushbacks.
  • Ability to engage with customers from different areas, researching specific area knowledge and traits to communicate effectively and easily, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer experience skills to build rapport and follow up with queries in a confident, customer-focused manner.
  • Knowledgeable in using a CRM is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Interface directly with potential customers, explaining the benefits of Voneus's products and services.
  • Meet real people, solve real problems, and help customers transform how they live and work.
  • Work outdoors, potentially staying away from home 1-2 nights per week.
  • Help customers choose the right bundled packages, including broadband, WiFi mesh, VoIP phone, and security products.
  • Coordinate sales activities in a specific area to successfully convert prospects into customers.
  • Represent the Voneus brand and introduce products and services to potential customers in rural communities.
  • Build and support the customer base.
