The Field Sales Representative position is responsible for sales, distribution, and retail execution in the assigned area. This includes managing distributor relationships, educating and motivating reps to gain new distribution, building sales, and improving chain execution. The objective is to maximize the sales and distribution of all company products in the assigned territory through the establishment and appropriate execution of local and national sales programs and initiatives. A sales strategy will be applied to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in the Territory, executing promotional programs and activities with key partners. The role involves aggressively identifying, targeting, and marketing to existing and potential accounts, both individually and in partnership with distributors, to maximize distribution, shelf space, and merchandising efforts. Building share of mind with distributors is crucial, achieved by regularly attending and leading distributor meetings, keeping management informed of initiatives, and tracking performance. Promoting the ‘Multiplier Effect’ involves training and motivating distributor sales reps on product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand pitches. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key retailers, coordinating marketing crew drives, and creating/executing marketing promotions are also key responsibilities. Utilizing distributor data and reporting tools to identify opportunities and recording daily sales activity and weekly results are required to meet sales goals set by the Regional Sales Director. Collaboration with various internal teams is essential to achieve success at retail. Additional responsibilities include ensuring quality standards are met, understanding and enforcing legal restrictions, maintaining a flexible schedule, upholding a professional appearance, and performing other related duties as assigned.
