About The Position

Gorilla Mind, a leading performance supplements and energy drinks brand, is searching for an experienced Field Sales Representative for the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This role will play a lead role in aggressive retail expansion and the development/implementation of regional sales support programs to optimize beverage sales and distribution within the Convenience, Food, and Independent Channel. The position requires working closely with senior leadership to communicate distributor/retailer needs, sales plans, inventory requirements, and marketing opportunities to ensure the brand gains meaningful traction in the market on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the beverage industry, including competitive brands and products, and have experience working with DSD partners. Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills are essential for navigating the dynamic beverage marketplace and securing/growing shelf and display space for Gorilla Mind products.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years CPG experience in beverage sales.
  • Creative problem solver and solution/results oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and proactively.
  • Strong planning, interpersonal, executional, and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for beverage category and health and fitness/nutritional supplements.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Located in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Responsibilities

  • Maximizing sales, distribution, and displays of Gorilla Mind products regionally by increasing brand awareness through distribution and partnerships (primarily Convenience, Grocery & Independent business).
  • Performing weekly account sales calls to build/maintain retail and distributor relationships and secure new distribution/display placements.
  • Improving product conditions and merchandising in accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and placing point-of-sale items.
  • Achieving specified rolling 30-day sales goals set by the National Sr. Director of Distribution, measured by KPIs.
  • Driving sales velocity in stores within assigned regions through awareness and in-store tactics.
  • Partnering with distributors to drive volume, distribution, and display execution.
  • Delivering weekly sales recaps showcasing progress vs KPIs (new placements, display execution, etc.).
  • Executing event activations such as tastings/samplings and grass-roots events to generate brand awareness and reporting on outcomes.
  • Attending distributor monthly meetings to share business results and set objectives.
  • Tracking progress and execution in all identified accounts and against specific programming goals in collaboration with the Corporate Team and its distributor/retail partners.
  • Fostering productive relationships with local retail accounts to drive incremental POD placement.
  • Regular travel in the market to service retailers and distributors; occasional travel for meetings and trainings, including training distributor sales reps and/or retail partners on products.
  • Ensuring proper forecasting and inventory support from Supply Chain based on promotions and incentive strategies.
  • Traveling for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships.
