About The Position

Ridwell is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our inaugural Door-to-Door Sales team in Denver. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to directly impact our company’s growth, enhance brand recognition, and grow your sales/professional skills. Plus, you will contribute to a greener future by selling a product that has already diverted over 29 millions pounds of waste from landfills. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be the face of Ridwell, educating and informing homeowners about our mission and services. This position is ideal for someone who is energized by meaningful conversations about environmental sustainability and is looking for a role outside the traditional office setting. If you have experience working in political canvassing, grassroots, solar sales or a similar field, you might be a great fit! Great Summer job for college students! Compensation: $20.00 per hour plus commission Total Earnings: $37.50/hr for reps meeting quota

Requirements

  • You are a motivated and driven individual with a positive outlook and a passion for engaging with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments, are quick on your feet and see challenges as opportunities for growth.
  • 1-2 years of proven success in door-to-door or direct sales preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with social and nonverbal cues and adjust communication styles to build trust with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to achieve targets.
  • Strong ability to think quickly and adapt to new situations.
  • Careful and accurate in your sales approach and data recording.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning, self-improvement, and innovation in your sales strategies.
  • A genuine interest in environmental sustainability and recycling.
  • A mobile smartphone and reliable transportation are required.
  • Access to a personal vehicle & valid driver's license are strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

  • Engage in door-to-door sales within assigned neighborhoods to drive subscriptions to Ridwell's service.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners, providing clear, honest information about Ridwell’s mission, product, and benefits, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Work independently to consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, appointments, and customer feedback using company-provided tools.
  • Provide regular progress updates to supervisors.
  • Attend and actively contribute to team meetings and training sessions, staying updated on sales techniques and product developments.
  • Uphold Ridwell’s values and professional image in all interactions with potential customers.
  • Contribute to the Ridwell team’s collective effort to keep waste out of landfills by empowering prospective customers to waste less with Ridwell!
