This full-time hybrid role requires the employee to reside in or near Anderson, Indiana, to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities. The position operates in a hybrid environment between a home office, school, community, and event settings, involving significant local travel within the assigned territory.

Requirements

High level of self-direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiently prioritize and manage tasks, demonstrating strong time management skills.
Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and CRM.
Ability to cultivate a distraction-free in-home office environment.
3+ years' business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) OR coaching/sports-related background.
Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Optimize the full cycle sales in the assigned territory and service customers.
Represent Varsity Brands by demonstrating company core values and maintaining high ethical standards.
Provide best-in-class, consultative customer service to coaches.
Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
Handle rejection and persist through challenges.
Navigate multiple functions within the company’s CRM, including prospecting, account management, and activity tracking.
Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
Utilize data-driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.
Manage account lists and travel on location within the assigned territory.
