About The Position

On behalf of our client, NECOA, 2020 Companies is seeking an energetic and results-driven Field Sales & Marketing Manager to lead a mobile sales and marketing team throughout the Austin area. This leadership role is responsible for driving customer acquisition through community events, business-to-business outreach, residential canvassing, product demonstrations, and direct sales activities. The Field Sales & Marketing Manager will lead a team of 2–4 representatives while actively participating in field efforts to generate leads, educate customers, and drive sales performance. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coaching teams while leading from the front.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in retail sales, event sales, field marketing, or event marketing
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
  • Experience driving sales results through direct customer engagement and lead generation
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving a company event vehicle or van
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Austin area
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport event materials and equipment
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks associated with event setup and teardown
  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage with customers for extended periods

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2–4 Field Marketing Representatives
  • Drive sales and lead generation through event marketing, community outreach, business-to-business prospecting, and residential canvassing
  • Participate in field activities alongside the team to support sales goals and customer acquisition efforts
  • Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on NECOA products and services
  • Manage event execution, including setup, teardown, transportation, and inventory management
  • Track team performance, monitor key metrics, and implement strategies to improve results
  • Ensure a positive customer experience and professional brand representation at all times
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing, scheduling, event planning, and territory strategy
  • Travel throughout the Austin market to support events, sales initiatives, and team development
