About The Position

Excelligence Learning Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Field Sales Account Manager based in Pennsylvania to exclusively sell our Discount School Supply® and Really Good Stuff® brands. This is a 100% field-based role serving PreK–6 public sector customers (school districts, Head Start, early learning centers, and state-funded programs) throughout Pennsylvania and Indiana. The role is based in Pennsylvania, and local candidates are preferred. The company is Great Place to Work® Certified™ for 2025. Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in PreK–6 public sector or early education required.
  • Familiarity with educational products and services tailored for Early Elementary.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt strategies based on market data.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Solid knowledge of public-sector procurement and education policy in Pennsylvania and/or Indiana.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly throughout Pennsylvania and into Indiana (mileage reimbursed).
  • Must live in Pennsylvania.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into large Pennsylvania or Indiana school districts is a major plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Dive deep into the Pennsylvania and Indiana public education landscape with a focus on Early Elementary (PreK–6), understanding purchasing cycles, competitive dynamics, state and federal funding, and budgetary factors.
  • Build and execute account plans for school districts and early childhood programs, becoming a trusted advisor to administrators, curriculum directors, and procurement teams.
  • Master PreK–6 product lines and demonstrate how they solve real classroom challenges.
  • Deliver engaging in-person presentations and hands-on product demos.
  • Create customized bids and quotations that meet Pennsylvania and Indiana public-sector purchasing requirements.
  • Partner with marketing, customer service, and product teams to keep offerings aligned with regional educators' needs.
  • Consistently hit and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets while keeping leadership informed of progress.
  • Stay current on Pennsylvania and Indiana education funding (Title I, Pre-K grants, ESSER, etc.), procurement rules, and compliance requirements.
