Position Summary Seasoned safety leader (10 + years) with deep expertise in OSHA Construction & General‑Industry regulations, focused on preventing hazards in fabrication plants. Designs, implements, and audits hazard‑control programs, conducts root‑cause investigations, and drives corrective‑action closures. Champions safety training, monthly sub‑committee meetings, and rigorous audit compliance to maintain a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory adherence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or Studies, Engineering or Risk Management, with 5+years’ experience required.
  • Familiarity with OSHA Regulations (Construction and General Industry) and reporting guidelines
  • All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, professional EHS certification such as CSP preferred
  • Preference for experience in General Industry at a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB) facility.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance at a semiconductor facility.
  • Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; and advise and educate others.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of hazard control elements.
  • Evaluation of task performance to ensure compliance with site and regulatory requirements.
  • Document and track results to support safety program elements.
  • Conduct incident investigations, site inspections, identify root cause, determine corrective actions, and support implementation.
  • Conduct employee training for education on site safety requirements.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with safety sub-committee.
  • -Review and audit pre-task plans, site risk analyses and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with the daily management of the tiered auditing program including closure of facility’s preventative and corrective action plans.
