About The Position

McCorvey Companies is a family-owned Manufacturing & Construction company seeking an entry-level Site Safety Coordinator to join our growing team. This position offers immediate availability with opportunity for long-term growth. McCorvey Companies supports large-scale commercial and industrial projects, including hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools, and other vertical markets.

Job Summary The Site Safety Coordinator promotes and enforces jobsite safety while supporting daily field operations. This role works closely with field leadership to plan, coordinate, and communicate safety requirements and serves as the primary safety point of contact on assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
• Must be local to the Houston area
• 2+ years of safety or construction-related experience
• Willingness to travel preferred
• OSHA 510/500 is acceptable; OSHA 510 is preferred
• OSHA 30
• CPR & First Aid
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and physical
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce company and site-specific safety programs
• Conduct safety orientations, audits, and inspections
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
• Communicate safety expectations with field personnel and leadership
• Assist with incident reporting and corrective actions
• Serve as the on-site safety point of contact
