Field Robotics Engineer - US

Gravis RoboticsAustin, TX
Onsite

About The Position

Gravis Robotics is a startup focused on transforming heavy construction machines into intelligent and autonomous robots. They achieve this through a unique blend of learning-based automation and augmented remote control, allowing a single operator to manage a fleet of earthmoving machines in a gamified setting. Their Rooftop Autonomous Control Kit (RACK) is a manufacturer-agnostic solution that integrates sensing, compute, communication, and networking for various construction machines. The company operates at the intersection of hardware, software, and real-world deployment and is experiencing rapid growth. This role is for a hands-on Field Robotics Engineer to join and help build out the US field team from the ground up. The position involves end-to-end technical execution of customer deployments across the Americas, from initial site assessment to live operations. The engineer will collaborate closely with R&D and Operations to refine planning, testing, and delivery processes. This is a field-based role requiring on-site presence to ensure systems perform in real-world conditions, troubleshoot integrated robotic systems under pressure, and act as the technical representative for Gravis to customers. The opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to see their work directly impact operations.
