Field Resource Coordinator
About The Position
Field Resource Coordinators help ensure technician resources serve customers quickly and efficiently by making day-of route changes and scheduling adjustments. The role addresses immediate operational bottlenecks through real-time communication with field technicians and by assigning additional jobs to external subcontractors. Coordinators balance daily schedule fluctuations, respond to escalated customer calls, and support high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. The position is part of In-Home Services (IHS), whose field professionals lead field operations and technicians across nearly 100 facilities. IHS manages inventory, fleet, and performance, connecting customers with DISH products and services. EchoStar’s brands include Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Gen Mobile, Hughes, and Sling TV.
Requirements
- Effectively communicate in writing and verbally with all levels of the organization.
- Organize, prioritize, and monitor tasks to ensure effective and efficient completion.
- Adjust to changing responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, time-critical environment.
- Be driven to learn and master DISH workforce management (WFM) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a combination of education and experience.
- Spanish bilingual ability.
- Customer advocacy and motivation to build knowledge of tools and resources for providing best-in-class customer service.
Responsibilities
- Communicate in real time with In-Home Service Professionals about issues and resulting routing changes.
- Work with technicians to accommodate same-day customer appointments.
- Track and communicate appointment progress with field management.
- Refer and assign additional jobs to external subcontractors.
- Answer incoming customer calls and handle or transfer them appropriately.
- Perform varied daily tasks requiring significant attention and accuracy.
