About The Position

The Department for Children and Families' Rutland Office is seeking a Resource Coordinator to join our team in promoting safety, permanency, well-being, and law abidance for children and youth. We believe in the expertise of families, their extended supports, and the importance of racial equity in all phases of our work. Resource Coordinators help ensure children who can't remain safely at home are cared for by people who know them when possible. Identifying and engaging family is a core expectation of this role: you'll partner with Family Service Workers to find, assess, and support relatives and natural supports as placement and respite resources from the start of every case. This work is built on relationships, and we're looking for someone who can connect with families and kin with respect and curiosity. The Rutland office is committed to a workplace culture in which it is safe to ask questions, raise concerns, and learn from mistakes. Staff can expect supportive supervision, shared decision making, and leadership that values the strengths you bring to the team.
