About The Position

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA. The tasks will be seasonal in nature and may be performed in an indoor and/or outdoor setting. The contingent worker will be responsible for the process to expedite the needed driver license when asked.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science (related fields) or Bachelor Degree in General Science (related fields)
Standardize qualitative data (e.g., scales, categories)
Leadership and Organizational Skills
Must obtain a driver's license when asked.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of routine tasks associated with the Phytogen Seed Company research program.
Seed Handling
Perform additional tasks as required by the supervising Field Technician.
Assisting with the repair and maintenance of field equipment.
Limited operation of field equipment.
Organization of samples during harvest and/or processing.
Limited driving of a company vehicle.
Field research operations related to planting, thinning, weeding, pollinations and sample harvest.
Sample processing operations including preparation of supplies, sorting, ginning, weighing, preparation for shipping and seed packaging.
General facility operations including general clean-up, organization of samples and supplies, and other routine tasks as they arise.
Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervising Field Technician.
Operation of mobile field equipment, such as a tractor or cotton picker, and stationary field equipment, such as a module builder.
