About The Position

Prairie Farms Dairy is seeking a Field Representative to cover the Central to Eastern WI down to NE Illinois territory. This role involves achieving account-specific sales goals, maintaining strong relationships with key account managers, executing promotional plans, and conducting business review meetings. The Field Representative will also analyze sales data, present new items to customers, assist with customer issues, and manage inventory and stocking for certain accounts. The position requires significant travel within a defined radius and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

Must be proficient in Microsoft business suite and have the ability to learn other software inventory and record keeping programs.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to use an electronic ordering device for inventory.
Must be able to follow diagrams and written instructions.
Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Excellent verbal communication skills both in-person and over the phone.
Coachable and willing to learn.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in the English language.

Responsibilities

Achieve Account Specific Sales & Goals
Maintain Strong Relationships w/ Key Account Managers working closely with them to execute all parts of the Sales Plan.
Weekly Key Account Store Visits
Monthly Price Checks
Execute Promotional Planning for Key Accounts Working with Buyer/Director
Set-Up Business Review Meetings w/ Key Account Buyers/Director’s
Work with BDM and Senior Analyst to create Account specific Category Insights
Set Up/ Prepare for Working Meetings w/ Key Accounts; new and follow up business
Attend/Participate in Sales Meetings as Scheduled
Presentation of New Items/Lines to Customers
Assist CSRs as needed with Customer Issues/Questions/Quality
Review/Monitor sales for Key accounts, Weekly/Monthly, by Item
Work through challenges/ Issues that arise to effectively address and resolve
Ordering and stocking will be required with certain accounts
Other duties as assigned
