Requirements

  • 1+ years of staffing or recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-volume driven environment OR Retail or other customer facing role and a desire to learn.
  • Track record of success with client engagement
  • Strong computer experience and aptitude
  • Community volunteering or social outreach experience
  • Excellent customer service skills including ability to react appropriately in stressful situations and deal with difficult customer or vendor situations diplomatically
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Demonstrable time management and organization skills
  • Practical experience and comfort with using Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and on-boarding candidates.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and client to understand workforce needs and job requirements.
  • Post job openings across multiple platforms and use creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Conduct interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and other per-employment requirements.
  • Extend offers and facilitate on-boarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and source effectiveness.
  • Participate in job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities to promote the company and expand the talent pipeline.
  • Partner with management and HR to improve recruiting processes and enhance candidate engagement.
  • Support retention initiatives and assist with employee relations as needed.
