About The Position

The Field Quality Manager supports field operations by overseeing the implementation and compliance of Michels’ QA/QC programs in the field. The role conducts on-site inspections and routine assessments to ensure work meets quality expectations, project specifications, and industry standards. Success requires independent work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. The position requires travel across the United States.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of QA/QC experience within the pipeline industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel across the United States.
• Valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles that may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.

Nice To Haves

• Related industry certifications, such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or AMPP Coating Inspector (Level 1–3).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and specifications.
