About The Position

UFP Site Built is a leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry, offering a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components. The Field Project Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with current Multi-Family and Commercial construction accounts and developing new relationships with potential accounts. This role works under the direction of an Account Manager or the Regional Sales Manager, exercises discretion and judgment on work priority, and requires a degree of creativity and latitude. This is a non-commissioned, bonus-eligible, salary position.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications

Nice To Haves

Preferred bachelor's degree
Preferred one to three years of experience in construction or related area
Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines

Responsibilities

Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base
Regularly visits jobsites in accordance with proposed schedule and resolves job-site issues and concerns
Provide accurate market feedback on competitors, service requirements
Resolves customer issues/problems on a timely basis
Identifies customers' needs and presents solutions by recommending potential product enhancements or modifications
Assists Account Managers in generating new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers
Monitors sales market in assigned region
Prepares various reports as required
Performs other duties as required (job drive-bys, job setup, pre-con meeting attendance, etc)
