About The Position

Storm Guard Roofing of Madison is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of residential roofing and exterior restoration projects throughout the Madison area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, supporting crews, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll play a critical role in managing active projects, coordinating with homeowners and crews, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of residential roofing and exterior construction practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Experience working with crews, subcontractors, or field personnel
  • Comfortable working outdoors and spending the majority of your time in the field
  • Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably at heights
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proficiency with smartphones, project management software, CRM systems, and digital documentation tools

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of project management, field management, superintendent, or production experience
  • Experience conducting jobsite inspections and quality control reviews
  • Knowledge of siding, gutters, windows, and exterior restoration
  • Experience reading scopes of work, contracts, and construction documentation
  • Experience working directly with homeowners and resolving customer concerns

Responsibilities

  • Manage active projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with homeowners and crews.
  • Maintain quality standards for projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Review active projects and coordinate with crews to ensure job setup for success.
  • Travel between job sites to monitor progress.
  • Conduct inspections.
  • Answer homeowner questions.
  • Help crews overcome challenges impacting quality, safety, or scheduling.
  • Serve as the primary field contact for customers.
  • Perform quality control inspections.
  • Document project milestones.
  • Coordinate materials and subcontractors.
  • Ensure work is completed to Storm Guard standards.
  • Maintain project records.
  • Communicate with internal teams.
  • Proactively solve issues before they affect customer satisfaction.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $55,000-$85,000+ per year + performance bonuses
