About The Position

The TFO Field Project Manager (Owner's Representative) will be responsible for overseeing data center construction projects, focusing on field management aspects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety, scheduling, and coordination between various stakeholders including general contractors, subcontractors, and owners. The position involves diving into plans and specifications, ensuring design intent is met, and managing the execution of quality assurance and quality control plans. Experience with tenant fit-outs, existing building retrofits, and commissioning is essential. The role also encompasses secondary responsibilities in design management, budget control, change management, and processing pay applications. The Field Project Manager will be expected to be on-site five days a week, from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, or applicable trade/superintendent experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience working in either design or construction of projects.
  • Experience in Labs, Semiconductor, Data Center, and/or Critical Facility Construction is necessary.
  • Proficient use of MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to exchange information with senior management, service providers, workers, and contractors
