About The Position

This role is for a Field Project Manager acting as an Owner's Representative, focusing on Data Center Construction. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent experience, along with 7-10 years of experience in project design or construction, specifically within Labs, Semiconductor, Data Center, and/or Critical Facility Construction. The role involves extensive field management, including safety and schedule oversight, daily tracking, coordination between various parties (Owner/GC, Base Build GC vs. Fit-Out GC, MOP, Delivery, Site Logistics), QA/QC, understanding plans and specifications, ensuring GC's adherence to QA/QC plans, and managing tenant fit-out and existing building retrofits. Commissioning, submittals, RFI's, and procurement logs are also key responsibilities. Secondary responsibilities include design management, budget/cost control, change management, and pay applications. The role demands a strong presence on-site, 5 days a week from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, or applicable trade/superintendent experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience working in either design or construction of projects.
  • Experience in Labs, Semiconductor, Data Center, and/or Critical Facility Construction is necessary.
  • Proficient use of MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to exchange information with senior management, service providers, workers, and contractors

  • Manage and communicate overall permit process
  • AHJ inspection and certificate of occupancy process management.
