About The Position

This role is for a leader who excels in field operations, communicates effectively, maintains high standards proactively, and takes complete ownership of field activities. The ideal candidate will manage daily morning launches, including job assignments, priorities, and crew allocation. They will ensure all necessary materials, tools, trailers, and equipment are prepared before operations begin. This role is responsible for overseeing the quality, pace, and execution of work across all job sites throughout the day, providing real-time coaching and making necessary adjustments. A key aspect is identifying and resolving problems before they escalate into costly issues. The position also involves end-of-day reporting and ensuring readiness for the following day, as well as managing the client experience by protecting their property, maintaining their trust, and ensuring a positive impression of the company.

Requirements

Field leadership experience in landscaping or related outdoor construction.
Strong field judgment; ability to recognize and uphold high standards.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain organization.
Clear communication skills, both upwards and downwards.
High level of accountability and coachability.
Respectful demeanor towards clients and crews.
Ability to work independently without constant direction.

Responsibilities

Manage daily morning launches, including job priorities and crew assignments.
Confirm materials, tools, trailers, and equipment are ready before operations commence.
Oversee quality, pace, and execution across job sites throughout the day.
Provide real-time coaching and course correction in the field.
Identify and solve problems before they become costly surprises.
Complete end-of-day reporting and ensure next-day readiness.
Manage the client experience, including their property, trust, and impression of the company.
