We are looking for an experienced Field Production Chemist located in Anchorage, Alaska. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet. The role involves monitoring chemical programs at North Slope facilities, optimizing separation efficiency, managing produced fluid chemistry, and ensuring utility system maintenance. You will act as the single point of contact for production chemistry issues, utilizing proactive problem-solving skills. The position is accountable for implementing and executing chemical programs, supporting product development, conducting daily coordination meetings, performing site inspections, executing inventory audits, monitoring dosage levels, collecting samples for laboratory testing, and compiling comprehensive performance reports. You will also maintain relationships with various internal teams (project manager, management, R&D, marketing, corrosion engineers, materials coordinator, other production chemists) and external customers (key personnel, operations, management, engineering groups, design groups). The role requires ensuring North Slope contract requirements are met, conducting business reviews, training team members, acting as a leader, supporting HSE performance, driving improvements with a performance management system, and working within a multi-functional team to assess plant integrity and apply control measures. This includes developing measures to maintain integrity through applied corrosion control techniques and repair, coordinating activities within the North Slope Production Chemistry team, assisting operations with chemical program implementation, and maintaining in-depth knowledge of current and planned production facilities.
