About The Position

The Field Product Specialist (FPS) connects customer challenges with Teradyne solutions to drive growth. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Applications, and Engineering to shape proposals, influence product direction, and help customers succeed. You’ll bring hands-on test experience with emphasis on Mobile compute, RF and Power Management. You’ll support customers in California, and collaborate with factory engineering and marketing; targeted training is available for the right overall fit. You’ll join a technical presales team that values collaboration and growth, with support to deepen expertise and build the customer-facing skills that drive outcomes. Requirements

  • BS+ in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5–8+ years in SoC validation/test (e.g., test development, DFT, or test-enablement tools).
  • Experience with leading-edge SoC ATE (Teradyne and/or competitor).
  • Customer-first mindset; able to build relationships across customer and internal teams.
  • Ownership mindset; collaborate, prioritize, and drive closure.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Growth mindset and interest in customer-facing work.

Nice To Haves

  • Competitive benchmarking experience is a plus.
  • C#/.NET (helpful, not required)
  • Experience with Mobile compute, RF and Power Management.
  • Silicon technology fundamentals and DFT
  • ATE and System-Level Test
  • Test program generation and debug
  • Power Management test for devices used in Automotive, Data Centers and Industrial applications
  • Manufacturing test

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted technical relationships with customer engineering teams.
  • Identify opportunities, articulate value, and help drive wins.
  • Coordinate cross-functional experts to design and deliver customer solutions.
  • Provide customer-driven input on positioning and product/engineering roadmaps.
  • Share feedback with factory and engineering to improve roadmap and execution.
