About The Position

The Field Orbital Welder will work onsite at the Brunswick nuclear plant during the Spring Nuclear Outage, starting February 7, 2027, for approximately 2–3 weeks. Weld testing is scheduled for November 2026 at the employer’s Manning, South Carolina location. Candidates must pass required weld testing and complete nuclear background and fitness-for-duty requirements before reporting to the plant.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in machine x-ray and orbital welding.
• Must pass the required weld testing in November.
• Must pass nuclear background and fitness-for-duty requirements before reporting to the Brunswick nuclear plant.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite at the Brunswick nuclear plant during the Spring Nuclear Outage.
• Complete required weld testing at the Manning, South Carolina location in November 2026.
