The Field Crude Operator will report and maintain the facilities assigned to and perform other activities as required by management. This role involves maintaining a motor vehicle in good working order and clean, monitoring and maintaining an oil Lact unit, and operating a centrifuge to obtain a representative BS&W sample. The operator must wear required PPE per company policy at all times. Responsibilities include taking readings of various meters, keeping the station clean, changing filters, monitoring and adjusting fuel conditioners, gauging product tanks, and preparing them for sales. The role also requires calling in for hauling of H2O and Condensate, cleaning Slug Catcher Y-Strainers, monitoring chemical storage tanks (Methanol and Glycol), and monitoring for H2S with Drager and H2S analyzer. Visual inspection of compressors for leaks, maintaining an inventory of filters, and monitoring/maintaining ROW signs are also key duties. The operator must perform tasks safely, timely, and responsibly, communicate with co-workers and management, assist with line locations, attend safety meetings, support co-workers, and perform minor equipment repairs. All other duties as assigned.
