About The Position

The Field Operator III is responsible for safely and efficiently operating upstream production facilities and wells in accordance with established operating procedures, safety guidelines, and daily operational plans. This position supports continuous production while minimizing equipment failure and ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance across field operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Lease Operating Experience
• Process operations experience in non-refinery environments
• Upstream oil & gas production experience from the wellhead
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Production Facilities, Midstream Operations, Tank Batteries, Compressor Stations, & Onshore Field Operations
• Experience working in or familiarity with: West TX, New Mexico, Bakken ND, or Oklahoma operations.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, and fit for duty and agility.

Responsibilities

• Operate wells and production equipment in compliance with operating and safety procedures to meet daily operational targets
• Provide basic facts on well performance, production rates, and well conditions
• Continuously monitor wells and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations
• Identify, report, and implement corrective and optimization actions based on surveillance data
• Ensure thorough well diagnostics prior to requesting Well Work intervention
• Maintain wellhead and surface equipment in proper working condition before turnover to Well Work teams
• Assist and support ongoing Well Work operations as required.
