About The Position

Kinetik is seeking a Field Operator II to report on and maintain assigned facilities and perform other activities as required by management. The role supports oil and gas operations in the Permian Basin by monitoring equipment and product, maintaining clean and safe facilities, coordinating hauling, assisting with line locations, and communicating with coworkers, plant personnel, and management. The operator is expected to complete work safely, promptly, and responsibly, attend scheduled safety meetings, support coworkers, and perform minor equipment repairs and other assigned duties. The position follows a 10-days-on, 4-days-off schedule, with overtime and call-outs as needed based on business necessity. Work involves daily driving between locations and indoor and outdoor work around industrial and electrical equipment, including adverse or extreme weather, temperature extremes, frequent loud noise, hazardous materials, and prolonged PPE use. Tasks may require working in close quarters and in a variety of positions, climbing and working at heights, and lifting and handling equipment and tools.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Basic computer skills, including opening, creating, and updating content in MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties, and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders at various organizational levels in a professional, businesslike manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors around industrial and electrical equipment.
Ability to complete DOT Operator Qualification.
Ability to drive safely each day in different types of weather and to various locations.
Ability to work effectively in the described working conditions.
Ability to safely perform essential job functions and meet applicable productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Ability to use physical force to lift, push, pull, and hold equipment and tools; climb and work at various heights; and work standing, sitting, lying down, crouched, or kneeling.
Ability to regularly bend, stoop, move between ground level and higher levels, lift from ground level, carry and lift up to 50 pounds, manually transport a load up to 75 pounds, and apply up to 100 foot-pounds of torque.
Ability to react to visual, aural, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and visually inspect work.

Responsibilities

Report on and maintain assigned facilities and perform other activities as required by management.
Maintain the assigned motor vehicle in good working order and keep it clean.
Wear required personal protective equipment in accordance with company policy.
Take readings of inlet, outlet, and fuel meters.
Keep the station clean.
Change filters on dehydrators.
Monitor and adjust fuel conditioners.
Gauge product tanks and prepare them for sales.
Call in for water hauling and condensate hauling.
Clean slug catcher Y-strainers.
Monitor methanol and glycol chemical storage tanks.
Monitor for H2S using a Drager and an H2S analyzer.
Visually inspect compressors for coolant, gas, and oil leaks.
Maintain an inventory of assorted filters in storage.
Monitor and maintain ROW signs and know the assigned area.
Perform tasks safely, in a timely manner, and responsibly.
Communicate with fellow coworkers, plant personnel, and management.
Assist with line locations.
Attend scheduled safety meetings.
Provide support to coworkers.
Perform minor equipment repairs as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
