This role involves operating IAWTS, performing Control Room Operator duties, and Sampler/Unloader duties as assigned. The Field Operator is responsible for operating disposal and auxiliary facilities according to procedures, logging monitoring data, and reporting significant changes. They will also perform RCRA inspections, operate and monitor the steam boiler and Integrated Aqueous Waste Treatment System (IAWTS), and control the caustic scrubber system. Filter changes in cartridge filter housings are also a responsibility. The position requires participation in an emergency response rescue team, including contingency plan events, confined space entry rescue, and serving as a CPR/first aid site provider. Maintaining a safe work environment is crucial, involving cleaning workstations, reporting defective equipment, proper storage and handling of materials, and participating in company training. Adherence to site safety and environmental policies, participation in safety meetings, problem-solving, and incident investigations are expected. The role also involves promoting safety and environmental policies by example.
