About The Position

The Field Operations Training Specialist supports AIR Communities by curating, designing, and developing a variety of programs to support training initiatives across the organization. The specialist reports to the Field Operations Support Manager and works closely with both the field operations team and business leaders to ensure all training is consistent with company standards. This person creates innovative, customized training content for all team member programs, assists with facilitation when needed and supports the entire team with content creation that appeals to adult learners.

Requirements

  • Degree or certification in Communications, Education, or related area preferred.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to utilize technology to design, update, create and implement virtual, in-person and on-demand training materials.
  • Assist with the maintenance and creation SharePoint sites, quick reference guides and other tools to support learning within the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with creating and editing video content.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with field operations team and business leaders to curate, design, develop, modify, and implement new and existing training programs that support onboarding, systems, standard/process, and skills-based training needs for property operations.
  • Support the design and delivery of training content for in‑person seminars, instructor led virtual training and on-demand training focused on operational execution, resident experience, compliance, systems, and performance standards.
  • Translate operational processes, policies, and best practices into clear, practical learning materials tailored to on‑site roles.
  • Partner with property operations leaders, regional teams, and subject‑matter experts to gather inputs and validate content accuracy.
  • Ensure training materials reflect the realities of daily on‑site operations and are easy for front‑line team members to apply on the job.
  • Develop an understanding of AIR Communities business model and key objectives and prioritize your work in a way that contributes to the business goals.
  • Films and edits engaging videos for use in training and other initiatives.
  • Update and maintain Help Juice pages and resources.
  • Communicate and circulate training content to the company utilizing internal communication tools (email, WebEx, SMS, etc.)
  • Supports the field operations team with facilitation of training as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
