The Field Operations Trainer will be a subject matter expert on using Alchemy Manager, Player, Coach, and Playbook. This role involves facilitating training for new hires, including OSHA and RJW Safety training, and classroom functional training. The trainer will also conduct observations on other trainers and employees, coordinate with operations and EHS for annual refresher and cross-training, and generate reports to track training progress. Additionally, they will train new trainers on Alchemy and partner with Training Supervisors/Lead Trainers on onboarding coordination. MHE certification is a plus, and knowledge of warehousing is preferred. Previous training/facilitating experience is required. A flexible schedule is necessary to work 1st, 2nd, or split shifts. The Field Operations Trainer conducts Day 1 onboarding training after orientation, rotating across four buildings. If not conducting onboarding, they will facilitate refresher training. On Tuesdays, they start classroom training and then hand off to Warehouse Trainers for On-the-Job training. New hire training takes approximately 1 hour. The role also involves conducting annual refresher training or other classroom training for employees being cross-trained into different functions. Flexibility in schedule is needed to cover all shifts, and strong organizational and coordination skills are required for planning and scheduling. A good understanding of warehouse operations and SOPs is necessary for observations, identifying gaps, and assessing skills for job qualification certification.
