Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in field service, mechanical work, or maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read basic mechanical drawings
  • Experience using tape measures and performing precise measurements
  • OSHA 10 Certification and Forklift License
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights or in confined spaces
  • Willingness to travel, work overtime, weekends, and overnight as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in conveyor belt maintenance or as a belt technician
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable

Responsibilities

  • Fabricating, installing, and repairing conveyor belting and systems
  • Supporting on-site field operations, including installations, maintenance, and service projects
  • Coordinating job logistics like scheduling, materials, tools, and manpower
  • Assisting field service technicians with setup, teardown, and job-site activities
  • Serving as a key liaison between customers, field teams, and internal departments
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA, Belt Power policies, and customer site requirements
  • Maintaining accurate job documentation, service reports, and safety records
  • Inspecting work areas, tools, and materials to identify issues or safety concerns
  • Tracking materials and supporting inventory for field jobs
  • Representing Belt Power professionally at all times
