This role is crucial for managing daily crew scheduling and supporting field operations for multiple crews involved in erosion control, street sweeping, and dewatering. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and adept at communicating with field crews, customers, and office staff in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is also a key requirement. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills in both English & Spanish.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with both field crews and office staff.
  • Ability to perform manual labor.
  • Comfortable using pickup trucks and equipment trailers.
  • Understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Knowledge of sediment and erosion control.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in scheduling, dispatching, construction, or field operations.
  • 1–2 years of construction experience, including stormwater infrastructure, concrete, piping, and detention/retention basins.
  • OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
  • Safeland training.
  • General carpentry and plumbing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate daily work for multiple field crews.
  • Take and update scheduling requests from clients and project managers.
  • Communicate daily assignments and changes to field crews.
  • Track crew locations, job progress, and completion updates.
  • Help coordinate equipment, materials, and basic job needs.
  • Keep schedules updated throughout the day as changes occur.
  • Support basic reporting (job completion notes, attendance logs).
  • Manage material, erosion BMP, and dewatering inventory—track levels regularly and order as needed to maintain service minimums.
  • Oversee tools, equipment, and fleet readiness, including small tools, trenchers, pumps, hoses, and vehicles.
  • Support daily operations by adjusting schedules, maintaining logs (attendance, post-con), participating in meetings, and providing consistent customer service.
