About The Position

Austin Industrial is currently seeking an experienced Field Office & Workforce Coordinator to support projects in the Orange, TX area. We are looking for a highly organized professional who enjoys supporting employees, coordinating onboarding activities, and assisting project teams with workforce and administrative functions.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in workforce administration, onboarding, office administration, payroll support, human resources support, or project administration.
Experience supporting employees in an industrial construction, maintenance, manufacturing, or similar environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting craft workforce onboarding and personnel administration.
Knowledge of payroll systems and project accounting processes.
Experience supporting multiple project locations or remote field operations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate employee onboarding, orientations, transfers, and workforce mobilization activities.
Support pre-employment requirements, including drug testing, physicals, certifications, and site-specific credentials.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding onboarding, payroll, benefits, and personnel processes.
Provide administrative and workforce support to local and remote project locations.
Coordinate payroll documentation and assist with timekeeping processes.
Maintain personnel files, workforce reports, and project documentation.
Support staffing efforts, workforce tracking, and employee record management.
Assist with invoice processing, job cost documentation, owner billings, and project reporting.
Maintain project filing systems and general office operations.
Support safety, compliance, and project closeout activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
