About The Position

Paradigm is seeking a full-time (0.75 - 1.0 FTE) Field Nurse Case Manager to cover the Houston, TX. This is a salaried position with a salary range of $70,000 - $98,000 annually (based on FTE). The candidate must be located in the Houston, TX, area due to regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. The candidate must be willing to travel and be licensed in Texas. This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers. Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Willingness to travel
  • Organization and timeline adherence skills
  • PC and technology skills
  • Communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Skilled at patient education
  • Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in case management of workers comp cases
  • Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred, REQUIRED within two years of the date of hire.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
