About The Position

Paradigm is seeking a full-time Field Nurse Case Manager to cover the St. Louis, MO, area. This is a hybrid role requiring local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. The position is salaried and offers a range depending on FTE. The Field Nurse Case Manager is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves working with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, closely monitoring injured worker progress, and reporting results. Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or combination of single state Kansas and Illinois RN licenses required
  • Experience in case management of workers comp cases strongly preferred
  • Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) strongly preferred (must obtain within two years of hire date)
  • Organization and timeline adherence skills
  • PC and technology skills
  • Communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Skilled at patient education
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving history
  • Must be located in the St. Louis, MO, area
  • Willing to travel according to the needs of the role (80% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals.
  • Works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees.
  • Closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers.
