About The Position

Scott Petroleum is looking for a hardworking, responsible individual to join our team as a Field Motor Technician. This position provides a variety of routine support activities on the job site.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanically Inclined
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Able to communicate effectively with others
• Must exhibit independent thinking and be highly resourceful and capable of solving problems with little supervision
• Must be punctual, disciplined, and talented at time management
• Must pass reference checks, drug screen, motor-vehicle report and criminal background check
• Ability to routinely lift 50 or more pounds
• Able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions: extreme wind, snow, rain, heat and cold

Responsibilities

• Perform PM on propane powered irrigation motors.
• Assess, diagnose, and repair propane powered motors.
• Commit to safe work practices and demonstrate the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Accurately complete work orders, and other paperwork as required.
• Courteously work with supervisors, fellow employees, and customers
• Operate Equipment on location.
• Safely use wrenches, hammers and other hand tools needed to maintain equipment.
• Assist with other services or roadside when needed.
