About The Position

The Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is looking for a traveling Field Maintenance Millwright stationed at our Applegrove, WV location. The Field Maintenance Millwright will travel to various Levy sites to process raw material through a slag processing plant. Responsible for plant production tracking, plant maintenance, and housekeeping.

Requirements

Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude including welding and basic electrical skills
Knowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment and crusher plant
Knowledge of crushing, screening, belts and conveyors
Knowledge of materials and specification requirements
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb or crawl under or on top of or under equipment
Ability to manipulate components in hard to reach places with hands or tools
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings
Valid Chauffeurs license or CDL class A with Air Brakes license or the ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

Operate mobile equipment (including but not limited to excavator, loader, skidsteer, etc.)
Feed portable plant with raw materials
Stockpile materials around plant area
Use machinery to regulate flow, quality, and size of materials to and from conveyors, crushers, and screens
Inspect and dismantle machines and equipment to locate the causes of malfunctions and to correct the problem
Keep the work area clean and tidy
Maintain daily production reports
Repair and replace defective parts
Weld and fabricate various equipment and parts
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and plant
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
