About The Position

This is a field-based role where the Field Mechanic will be responsible for caring for and maintaining company machines/equipment, ensuring co-workers do the same, and performing designated repairs on company-owned equipment. This includes mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. The role requires maintaining a necessary set of tools for job performance, adhering to company policies and OSHA regulations, and following manager directions for daily tasks and project expectations.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of heavy equipment or other related technical experience.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience.
• Knowledge in automotive A/C and the ability to troubleshoot/ repair.
• Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
• Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Trade School graduate, or other technical certifications in heavy equipment/ truck.

Responsibilities

• Cares for and maintains company machines/equipment and ensures co-workers are doing the same.
• Diagnoses and performs designated repairs on company owned equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintains a necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.
• Properly follows all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Follows directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
• Travels to other projects as required.
