Based in our San Jose headquarters, the Field Marketing Specialist will plan and support the end-to-end event execution of Supermicro's field and channel programs. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams, agencies, and vendors to ensure high-quality execution and drive measurable impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B field or event marketing experience
  • At least 2 years of marketing experience in IT hardware or datacenter-related industries preferred
  • Strong knowledge of event strategy, operations, and integrated event marketing
  • Exceptional project management, budget management, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI development and event performance reporting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels in an organization and with external event agencies
  • Proven team player who can operate both collaboratively and independently
  • Lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 pounds
  • Lift up to 50 pounds utilizing a buddy system
  • Occasional standing and walking for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of marketing experience in IT hardware or datacenter-related industries preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive end-to-end execution of Supermicro's field and channel events, inclusive of owned and sponsored events
  • Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and ensure investments deliver measurable ROI
  • Conduct post-event analysis with actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Maintain detailed event trackers and ensure alignment and visibility across cross-functional and external stakeholders
