About The Position

Claroty is seeking a Public Sector Field Marketing Specialist to drive demand generation across Federal and State & Local Government (SLG) markets. This role, reporting to the Director of Marketing, Public Sector, will execute field and channel marketing strategies to contribute to pipeline and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a collaborative individual with hands-on experience in trade shows, webinars, digital campaigns, and third-party sponsorships. A growth mindset, passion for the Public Sector, and strong relationship-building skills are essential. The position is preferred in the Washington DC area but can be remote or hybrid, with approximately 10% travel.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B marketing experience with a focus on the Public Sector (Federal, State, or Local Government).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and a general comfort level learning new marketing and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector sales cycle, specifically how marketing activities support Federal and SLG sales teams.
  • Comfort managing trade shows and field events from the planning phase through to lead capture and reporting.
  • The ability to keep multiple projects on track and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A "think on your feet" mindset—ready to adapt when event logistics or priorities change.
  • Clear, structured communication when working with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional and remote teams across different time zones.
  • A results-driven mindset and a genuine interest in how marketing activities impact the bottom line.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Execute demand generation and brand campaigns aligned to Public Sector sales priorities.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Support integrated programs targeting DoD, Civilian, Intel and SLG accounts.
  • Manage logistics and coordinate field events, workshops, webinars, and partner activities.
  • Assist with lead list management, tracking, and post-event follow-up coordination.
  • Track leads, pipeline contribution, and campaign ROI using Salesforce and marketing automation tools.
  • Work closely with the sales team and channel partners to align marketing initiatives with sales goals, support pre- and post-event actions, and communicate results.
  • Support budget tracking, vendor coordination, and process all third-party vendor contracts and procurement.
  • Partner with internal teams such as corporate event marketing, product marketing, and marketing operations to drive successful campaign outcomes.
