About The Position

Orchid Security is seeking its first Field Marketing Manager to own the company's presence in the field. This is a hands-on role focused on generating pipeline through events, executive programs, and regional campaigns. The Field Marketing Manager will be the primary representative of Orchid in the field, collaborating closely with sales to build relationships with enterprise clients. The role involves managing the entire regional marketing strategy, including third-party events, company-hosted experiences, account-based field programs, and local brand presence. This position reports to the VP Marketing and operates at the intersection of marketing and sales, with a strong emphasis on pipeline impact and measurable results. Success will be defined by a consistent flow of engaged prospects for the East Coast sales team, memorable brand experiences, and field programs that convert to revenue.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of field marketing or event marketing experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute a regional event calendar from scratch, managing budget, logistics, and vendor relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong partnership instincts with sales; understanding of pipeline and revenue, and ability to build trust with field reps.
  • Experience running executive programs and intimate customer experiences, beyond just booth presence at large trade shows.
  • Hands-on approach to account-based field programs, with the ability to tailor marketing activity to specific high-value accounts and demonstrate impact.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on tracking pipeline contribution and using results to prioritize and improve program mix.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and programs simultaneously without missing details.
  • Based on the East Coast with willingness to travel regularly across the region and occasionally nationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity, identity security, IAM, or adjacent enterprise security markets.
  • Familiarity with the enterprise security buyer (CISOs, IAM leads, GRC teams) and their engagement at events.
  • Background at an early-stage startup where you built the field marketing function without an existing playbook.
  • Experience with intent data and ABM platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase to inform field targeting.
  • Existing relationships within the East Coast cybersecurity and enterprise IT community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute Orchid’s field events strategy, including industry conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and presence at key cybersecurity and identity security events (e.g., RSA, Gartner, regional CISO forums).
  • Design and run Orchid-hosted executive programs such as roundtables, dinners, and workshops to foster meaningful conversations with CISOs, IAM leads, and GRC teams.
  • Build and run account-based field programs in partnership with regional sales reps, targeting high-priority accounts with tailored marketing touchpoints.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including vendor management, venue sourcing, speaker coordination, booth production, budget tracking, and on-site execution.
  • Drive pre- and post-event engagement by working with demand generation and marketing operations to create outreach sequences that maximize attendance, follow-up, and pipeline conversion.
  • Track and report on field marketing ROI, including pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, event attendance, and account engagement metrics.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure messaging consistency across all field activities and sales tools used in the region.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team on integrated campaign moments to amplify field activity with digital and content programs.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Meaningful equity
  • Full flexibility
  • A team that takes the work seriously
