About The Position

Datadog is seeking a highly organized and detailed-oriented Field Marketing Manager who is enthusiastic about event planning, thrives in a demanding environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional client-facing experiences. As a member of the NAMER Field Marketing team, you will be responsible for planning, managing and executing Datadog’s presence at a diverse portfolio of events.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Product, Executive, IT, and more to bring our events to life and deliver exceptional, high-impact programs that align with our brand and business objectives. What You’ll Do Develop and execute field marketing strategies tailored to the Southeast region, with a strong focus on Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Named account engagement and product adoption Partner with regional Sales, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to design programs that align with the buyer journey and product maturity stage Lead the end-to-end execution of localized events, executive roundtables, user group sessions, and hands-on enablement workshops,hospitality events and more! Build a repeatable marketing playbook that helps move accounts from acquisition to product expansion and advocacy Leverage tech stack (SFDC, Metabase, Demandbase, Marketo, Tableau) to analyze regional performance, uncover account insights, and optimize campaign effectiveness Forecast, report on, and manage quarterly budget allocations to support regional pipeline targets Support major Datadog-led events such as DASH, Datadog Summits, Datadog Live, and key industry conferences (e.g., RSA, Google Cloud Next, AWS re:Invent) Serve as a local expert on Southeast trends and customer needs, feeding insights back into campaign development and go-to-market strategy Who You Are 2-3 years’ experience in field marketing or event marketing, event management Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a process-driven approach to problem-solving. Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needs, adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and plan and execute multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines Strong work ethic, excelling in both self-directed work and collaborative environments, with a consistently positive, team player approach. Demonstrated experience creating and managing marketing content for events (e.g., event collateral, session materials, emails, social posts, landing pages) to drive engagement and support event campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas thoughtfully and clearly to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in field marketing or event marketing, event management
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a process-driven approach to problem-solving.
