About The Position

Mercury Broadband is expanding high-speed fiber internet into new communities and is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to build local awareness and excitement. This role is the face of the brand in assigned markets, responsible for driving interest, growing the service waitlist, and building strong community relationships before service launches. The position connects company strategy with community engagement, adapting marketing plans for local impact through partnerships with HOAs, businesses, chambers, and neighborhood groups. The primary focus is generating demand by creating opportunities to connect with residents, supporting local events and partnerships, and encouraging sign-ups for the service waitlist. The Field Marketing Manager will work closely with Sales and Corporate Marketing to ensure strong early adoption for market launches. This role offers ownership of the territory with clear goals tied to awareness, engagement, and sign-ups, requiring confidence, organization, and adaptability. The ideal candidate is motivated, coachable, and ready to grow, gaining hands-on experience in marketing execution, community engagement, lead generation strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, sales, or customer-facing roles
  • Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends for events
  • Ability to travel regionally in a company vehicle
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer/tablet, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision requirements due to computer work, and required driving.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • May be required to operate general office equipment including but not limited to copiers, printers.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and traverse job sites for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50–100 lbs (frequently or repetitively depending on task).
  • Ability to move equipment up and down stairs when necessary.
  • Ability to work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions year-round, including harsh environments.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to ride in a vehicle for extended periods when traveling to job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a localized marketing plan for assigned communities, adapting corporate strategy to regional needs.
  • Plan and execute field events, sponsorships, promotions, and grassroots initiatives to generate awareness and drive customer interest.
  • Stay informed on competitors, community dynamics, and customer feedback to shape marketing decisions.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, Construction, and Corporate Marketing to ensure alignment of messaging, timing, and execution.
  • Monitor lead activity, event engagement, and campaign performance, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses, chambers, HOAs, schools, and community organizations to represent the brand and create goodwill.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to adapt brochures, presentations, signage, and social content for the local market.
  • Develop and implement regional marketing strategies that align with overall company objectives and target audience needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute field marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, ensuring marketing strategies are data driven.
  • Provide training and support to local sales teams on marketing initiatives and best practices.
  • Assist with sales efforts as needed, including direct selling and product demonstrations.
