$75,000 - $80,000Onsite

About The Position

As our Field Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in launching and building Express Flooring’s event presence across Southern California. You’ll own the local event strategy — building the calendar, executing trade shows and community activations, and creating experiences that generate qualified leads and in-home appointments for our sales team. This is an opportunity for a confident, hands-on leader who can think strategically and execute in the field. Working closely with the Director of Events, you’ll build our local presence, recruit and coach a team of Brand Ambassadors, and continuously improve performance as the market grows. If you’re a confident field marketer who enjoys building something from the ground up and seeing a direct connection between your work and business results, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, experiential marketing, lead generation, or a related customer-facing environment.
  • Proven experience planning and executing trade shows, canvassing, community events, activations, or face-to-face lead-generation programs.
  • Experience recruiting, leading, and coaching customer-facing teams such as Brand Ambassadors, promoters, sales representatives, or event staff.
  • Strong business acumen with experience evaluating event performance, lead metrics, budgets, and ROI.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and regularly work weekends based on the event schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home improvement, home services, remodeling, flooring, windows, roofing, HVAC, solar, or another in-home sales environment where field marketing generates leads or appointments for a sales team.
  • Understanding of the customer journey from event engagement to in-home sales consultation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the territory’s event calendar, with the goal of growing the market to 25+ events per month across trade shows, community events, partnerships, and local activations.
  • Develop an event strategy focused on brand visibility, lead generation, appointment setting, and ROI.
  • Build relationships with event organizers and community partners to secure new opportunities and expand Express Flooring’s local presence.
  • Own event execution from logistics and setup through staffing and on-site performance.
  • Maintain a strong field presence, personally working events and engaging homeowners as the market and team grow.
  • Create professional, engaging experiences that generate qualified leads and in-home consultation opportunities while representing Express Flooring’s brand.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a team of 10+ Brand Ambassadors as the market grows. Teach and model effective customer engagement, lead generation, qualification, appointment-setting, and brand representation.
  • Provide regular in-field coaching, feedback, and performance management to strengthen individual and team results.
  • Build a culture of energy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Track lead volume, appointment generation, event costs, conversion trends, and other key performance indicators to understand event effectiveness.
  • Use performance data to determine where to invest, where to adjust, and which events should become part of the ongoing market strategy.
