About The Position

At echo, we believe security should be a given and built in from the start. With companies today wasting enormous time and energy chasing software vulnerabilities after the fact, the process is noisy, reactive, and unsustainable. We’re changing that. Our AI-powered platform makes cloud infrastructure secure by design, eliminating security problems before they reach production. Instead of spending hours trying to manage skyrocketing vulnerabilities, teams can focus on building. Backed by top-tier investors and led by experienced founders, echo has grown from stealth mode to serving global enterprise customers in under six months. We’re looking for our first Field Marketing Manager to build and lead Echo’s global events and field marketing strategy. In this foundational role, you’ll shape how Echo shows up in the world, selecting the right events, designing our presence, and driving awareness within the cybersecurity ecosystem. You’ll work closely with the Marketing team to ensure every event reflects our brand, messaging, and mission.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or related roles.
  • Proven experience leading events in the cybersecurity or cloud technology space.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, key conferences, and target audiences.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to plan and manage event budgets effectively.
  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and leadership.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal) with outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable being the first hire building a function from the ground up.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for domestic and international events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing event strategies for high-growth B2B startups.
  • Familiarity with event design, digital campaigns, and brand activation.
  • Existing relationships or familiarity with key cybersecurity events such as RSA, Black Hat, KubeCon, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own Echo’s annual field marketing and events strategy.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and select high-impact industry events based on audience, relevance, and ROI.
  • Define and manage the yearly events budget with strong cost awareness and strategic planning.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee all event activities end-to-end from design to logistics to on-site presence.
  • Work closely with vendors and agencies on branding, production, logistics, and execution.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all events.
  • Coordinate all event elements: design, collateral, advertising, invitations, travel, and accommodations.
  • Organize partner and customer dinners, networking sessions, CISO dinners and testimonials.
  • Represent Echo on-site at key cybersecurity events and conferences.
  • Track performance, gather feedback, and continuously refine the field marketing strategy.
