About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the General Manager with the coordination of all digital and in-person marketing initiatives for their property. This role also partners closely with Spinoso REG’s Corporate Field Marketing Team and Leasing Representatives to provide market research, tenant support, and performance reporting data for review. The ideal candidate will thrive in building strong tenant and community relationships and enjoy supporting event planning and production efforts that drive foot traffic, boost tenant sales, and elevate overall center awareness.

Requirements

  • Availability to be onsite part-time throughout the week with weekend and holiday availability as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven personable and professional attitude with a desire to be collaborative.
  • Intermediate math skills and excellent analytical skills.
  • Intermediate to expert ability using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other basic office software programs.
  • Intermediate to expert understanding of Meta Business Suite, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Proficiency in building paid advertising campaigns and targeted audiences through Meta Ads.
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency using content creation and graphic design tools such as Canva, CapCut, Edits, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, and/or Adobe SparkPost.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager with the development, implementation, and coordination of marketing objectives for the property.
  • Assist in the creation of the property’s annual marketing strategy and marketing budget.
  • Conduct market research and analyze findings with the General Manager to influence the development of the property’s annual marketing strategy.
  • Compare monthly budget actuals with budget estimates through monthly reforecasting and invoice submittals.
  • Coordinate with vendors and other onsite staff to support the production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly events.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with property tenants to advise on sales productivity, event involvement, and promotional opportunities within the center.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend community networking events to maintain professional relationships between relevant community leaders and local institutions.
  • Oversee all digital initiatives, including but not limited to maintaining the property’s website, and social media engagement (Facebook and Instagram).
  • Collaborate with a third-party Email and SMS coordinator to provide mall local content for bimonthly marketing blasts.
  • Spearhead the property’s paid advertising strategy by conducting digital ads for events, sales opportunities, and relevant tenant promotions as needed.
  • Coordinate all printed advertising opportunities for the property within local community spaces as needed.
  • Assist in creating the property’s annual publicity plan, preparing press releases for General Manager and Corporate approval, distributing approved press releases, and managing all media inquiries in accordance with Spinoso Real Estate Group’s public relations policies.
  • Communicate current market trends and local market updates with property leasing agents to assist in the acquisition of new tenants.
  • Assist leasing agents in the administration of lease provisions applicable to marketing and organizing marketing support for new tenant openings.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor tenant sales and implement strategic marketing programs to support underperforming tenants, including but not limited to social media promotions, advertising solutions, email and SMS marketing blasts, and event coordination.
  • Help with the collection of all marketing data needed for corporate, client, and mall-level reporting documents.
  • Work with the General Manager to oversee visual communications, including digital directories, window displays, signage, and holiday décor.
  • Serve as an integral member of the Mall Management Team by supporting related programs, including Emergency Planning and Communication, and improving processes related to the essential duties and responsibilities outlined above.
  • Complete all other ad hoc tasks as needed.
